1.1 Information You Provide

In the course of making a booking, hosting an event, subscribing to our mailing list or otherwise communicating with us, you may furnish the following information:

• your name, email address and telephone number;
• booking particulars (including date, group size, guest names where applicable, and the age range of children attending);
• dietary, accessibility or other requirements voluntarily disclosed to our staff;
• booking and payment details, which are submitted to and processed by the Third-Party Booking System and its associated payment service providers; HiParty does not retain full payment card numbers on its servers.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage recorded within the premises for the purposes of safety, security and incident review;
• arcade card balances and play history associated with your HiParty card;
• website analytics data (including pages accessed, device type and approximate location) collected by means of cookies and analogous technologies.

We collect, hold and use personal information for the following purposes:

• processing bookings, payments and HiParty card top-ups;
• confirming reservations, issuing booking reminders and responding to enquiries;
• conducting birthday and group events safely, including making provision for any dietary or accessibility needs disclosed to us;
• improving the venue, games offering and website functionality;
• delivering marketing communications regarding new arcade releases, events or promotions, but only where you have provided consent; you may withdraw such consent at any time;
• discharging our legal, regulatory, taxation and occupational health and safety obligations.

This website employs cookies in order to retain language preferences, maintain active booking sessions and measure traffic by means of analytics tools (including, without limitation, Google Analytics). You may disable cookies through your browser settings; however, certain features of the website may cease to function as intended.

HiParty does not sell personal information. Personal information may be disclosed only to:

• third-party service providers engaged in the operation of the venue and website, including the Third-Party Booking System, payment processors, email delivery providers, hosting providers and analytics providers;
• law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies or insurers, where disclosure is required by law or is necessary for the investigation of a serious incident;
• a successor entity, in the event that HiParty is sold, transferred or otherwise restructured.

HiParty welcomes children and conducts birthday parties for younger patrons. Where a parent or guardian makes a booking on behalf of a child under the age of fifteen (15), HiParty collects only such information as is reasonably necessary to conduct the event safely (including the child's given name, age and any allergies). HiParty does not direct any marketing communication to children.

Personal information is stored on servers operated by HiParty or by its service providers, principally located within Australia. HiParty implements such reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption in transit and staff training, as are appropriate to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. CCTV footage is retained for a limited period and is accessible only by authorised personnel or where required by law.

Subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the APPs, you are entitled to:

• request access to the personal information held about you;
• request correction of any information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading;
• withdraw consent to receive marketing communications at any time, by means of the unsubscribe facility provided or by contacting us in writing;
• lodge a privacy complaint with HiParty, to which we shall respond within thirty (30) days. Should you remain dissatisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

HiParty reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version shall at all times be published on this page, together with the effective date set out below.
